i believe the intial msrp is actually a little cheaper than the 2500d was.

new orion amps just seem to fall so quickly in value, yet still their older stuff sells for top dollar. I would wait a while before, cause they will probably be around 500 soon

this one is rated at 14.4 v I think. The old ones are rated at 13.8v. probably be lucky if it does put out the same power. The fancier controls are going to make this a tad more expensive on top of that.
