Orion hcca-d2400 with 10" CVXs???

I plan on buying 2 CVX's. Voice coil ohmage will be decided when I pick an amp.

The orion d2400 amps run cheap but do they really put out 1200x1 at 1ohm? Thatd be perfect for running 4ohm Cvx 10"s(600watts each).

If not would the kicker zx1000 be a good amp for these subs? It wouldnt give the subs the full 1200 watts but I know that kicker amp put out some decent power.

Id choose the Orion, and yes it does rated power. They can take more power also...

orion's a really good amp and yes it puts out that much power

just talking to a guy at the local audio place~Street Legal Audio~about that amp today

I bought the CVXs with the Orion 2400. Im not exactly sure what to set the LPF and HPF at??

I had two, they were nice amps, they are CEA approved. They dont get hot at 1 ohm. Ike Sound has them on ebay for 180 shipped, new. I like the looks of the new HCCA line, looks sick, but will they have the power to back up the HCCA name? Hope so.

yea its put out some good power. Its cut off if I have it turned up with the car idling. I think this is because my alt and battery cant give it enough amps. What should i set the LPF and HPF at?

HPF like at 25 or so (if I remember right I had it set to as low as it goes) and the LPF like at 80Hz, then work it from there to your liking.

Yes I just had it on. Its always a good idea to have it on. Its like a insurance, so you dont mess up your subs from playing tones below 25Hz

Ok I just wanted to be sure.

Also what should my HU settings be at? I have the bass freq set at 60hz and the HPF set at 120hz? Are these correct settings or should I change them?
