Orion hcca comps, any opinions

I am replacing my rear 5 1/4's in my rear doors, they are gonna be on an aq 120.4...I'm worried that that would be too much power, but I have over powered components in the past and been fine.

Has anyone ran these, I'm really curious how they are going to perform and what I should expect.

you've never powered components? let me guess... the first gear you buy is subs and a class d hifonics amp. let me inform you of a little secret... spend 80% of your budget on your front stage. any sub can sound decent. your front stage is way more important. and... no, your amp is not to much power. you can throw a thousand watts per channel to a set of components if you wanted... its all about setting the gain properly. no such thing as to much power.

and... the components your asking about. they ****. horrible mid bass and weak highs. look elsewhere

So from your experience it sounds like these components gave good sound quality! That's all I needed to know, I might go with a/d/s instead of orion though
