I have two of these. just picked em up and apparently they need more than 1.5 KW a piece to get moving so they are of no use to me. underrated at 2,000 rms but the 4 inch VC can take twice that according to what ive read on other forums. I made an impulse buy but i'll just keep my TC 12s.
someone jump on this steal, I dont think they will last at this price. I bought em on CL as the first responder and 4 people called in the 45 minute drive I made to pick em up lol.
one woofer has a broken mounting ring that is cosmetic and a very light scrape in the foam surround (can barely see in pic or even up close). although it holds the surround down like the w7s, it uses screws not pressure to secure itself so its fine. I ran 1KW free air for over an hr no issues with 50-15 hz tones (quite fun). the guy i bought them from owned them for 2 months and his home was foreclosing so they are stiff as hell and practically virgin.
