Thanks for the reply... I just bought (2) H2 12.4's, (2) set's of orion P5.2 components, (1) orion 2500D, (1) orion 4002, a audiocontron four.1 and (1) sony mp80 head unit. I bought all my wire, dist. blocks, etc from knukonceptz.com and a box designer in tampa fl. is doing my box tranquilaudio.com. What do you guys thing and has anyone heard a box from this company.

Sony headunit with orion woofers and amps...Ouch. Give orion what they deserve. Sorry but, not a big fan of sony. To many problems.

I've always had great luck with sony head units. In your opion, what's the best !!

Also, I have a 02 ford explorer with a v-6. Does any one know what output the alternator has and if I will need to install a new one for the orion 2500D.

To get the most out of the amp, I would recommend replacing the amp with a larger one if you have the money. If not, you will just notice a lot of dimmage from teh headlights.

I would rank Eclipse or McIntosh near the top of the heap. Alpine and Pioneer also make great decks. I have a Panasonic so I am not being bias by any means.
