The H2 is definately a solid choice. Im getting 4 of them, with 2500 on each. Dont go bigger than 2.5 like RMK said, because of they way they are designed they actually are louder and sound better in smaller boxes. I think youll be happy with the sub, just make sure you send it as much power as you can.

I've seen the H2's do better in smaller enclosures for SPL. It seems like SPL goes way down if you go to a large box for them. From what I've seen others running, a resonably small box with a tune in the 40's is working very well.

I talked to HCCA fan onTermpro and he is running 4 15's with a 2500D per sub and has done 5 or 6 boxes now and he said that right around 3.0 ci and 33 hz is the supposed sweet spot

Yea when i tuned my box from 35 down to 28 when i had 2 of the 12H2s it actually hit 4 db louder...really wierd...kinda defys all prior knowledge of spl applications...When i get my 15s, im doing 3 cubes each, tuned around 33, with about 80 sq of port area each...and its supposed to wang man....

Every vehicle is going to have it's own resonant frequency as well, so that should be taken into consideratoin. If you have a resonant frequency that is 60 hz and someone else has one that is 45 hz you are not going to want to tune your boxes the same in order to get the maximum output from the subs.

How do you figure out the resonant frequency of a car? Never heard of this til recentley and I really don't know much about it.
