Orion H2 12.2 or diamond TDX 12D4

Which one is a better sub in your opinion, the Orion H2 12.2 or diamond TDX 12D4? The orion handles 500 more, but the diamond is typically more expensive? Which one would guys recommend? Or would you recommend them at all?

TDX for SQ for sure, hell they even get really loud ported.

If in the right box I've heard some impressive things from a 10" TDX. I like Orion's stuff too, I just don't think you get the best of both worlds like a TDX can offer.

I have a sealed q-logic custom fit enclosure for two 12s in the back of my camaro. Each side of the box has about 1.25 cubic feet of air space. Would that be enough for the tdx?

Diamond hands down. I have had Orion and my brother has TDX 12

no way, H2 all they way, my bud has a TDX and the H2 wins hands down, i am not at all impressed wit its output, sound nice, but the H212 can sound juss as good. its all in the install. i would go wit the H2, cheaper and u'll get more output and juss as good SQ out of it.

I've heard the a couple diamond audio TDXs and I've heard the HCCA (version 1) orions, and they are both loud, I didn't really like the sq of either of them, but the TDX has the edge IMO.

I haven't heard the Diamond but am very happy with my Orion H2.2 in a 2.64 cube box tuned to 30hz.

I think the problems with the h2's begin well before the manufacturing process...

I will trust what an engineer with a degree says about the actual design of the sub any day over a few people's experience...

anyways, haven't you already blown at least 1 h2 in the past?

2 totally different subs as far as SQ is concerned

but IMO TDXs are the shit

believe me, theres enough people here from CA, SI, and SD that will say H2's are only good if you get a perfectly product. Which is maybe 20:1 (guestimate). And WHY you ask? Bad voice coils thats why.
