Orion amp & RF Subs @ thezeb on special...

Is this setup worth it? thezeb has 2 Rockford Fosgate HX2 12" Subs powered by an Orion XTR900.2 on special for 599.99!

Is this a good deal? I haven't heard Rockford subs in a while, I wasn't too impressed with them 5 years ago...and I've never heard any Orion amps?

Just wondering if these subs and amp are worth the pain in ordering off the net? Also, does thezeb sell remanufactured/rebuilt/repaired equipment or is it all new?

Not a bad deal at all. Orion amps are overall pretty good amps. If you didn't like Rockford subs 5 years ago then you probably won't like them now, although the HX2 series is one of Rockfords better subs. The Zeb sells new products. If they sold anything refurbished it would be noted on the web site. It wouldn't hurt to call customer support at the Zeb to be sure. I purchased a pair of subs through them about a year ago without any problems.

Well, what are Rockford subs known for? SPL or SQ...I'd like a mixture of both, even leaning more toward SQ. There subs I heard 5 years ago didn't sound too strong on SQ.
