Orion 8002 & Arsenal 10?

Hey I'm planning on getting an arsenal 10 pretty soon and I was going to amp it with a orion 8002. Is this too much power and is there a way to turn down the amp?

You can back the gains way down. There is a gain setting tutorial here on this forum.
