well, im bailing on the stereo idea so im going to be getting rid of everything...

then a 4 cu ft box with 100 sq in of port with a removable port. tuned to 35/45-55 or whatever your car likes then.

removeable port?..is that necessary or no?..i have enough trouble building a simple box without the tools or time let alone something i have no clue about....thanks for the help man.

well no but if you plan on going to comps and running daily it would help get a higher number ... but my wall was tuned to like 37hz and I had no problems playing rap music. I couldn't find a song they had trouble with ..

oh ok...so if i did 4ft^3 tuned to 35-38Hz id be good?...im just wondering cause if its 4ft^3 i could probably get the plans here and build it myself, i just dont think that i could work 5ft^3 in the trunk without building inside...which would make me have to bring it to a shop.

yeah but make sure that the 4 cu ft is after displacement, port, and bracing etc
