If you plan on running it at 1ohm, use both so you get better current to the amp.

Im just hooking my CVX to 4 ohms right now so 1200 @ 4 ohm would I be alright to use just the one?

since they are so small 8ga It would be best to use both...that amp pulls about 300 amps at full power
