Just checked eBay and there is no kx2500.1 for $500. Cheapest I found is $650 which is still very good.

Hey I was thinking about hooking this same amp to my two 15" Kicker L7s DVC 2. Ive heard the L7s can handle 1ohm but would it be ok running at 0.5ohms? How many rms would each sub get running them at 0.5 ohms?

I didnt think it mattered what ohm you wire your subs to, but it only matters if the amp can handle the ohm load.

load is determined by the impedence of the voice coils. the amp sees the resistance and adjusts its output accordingly not the other way around.

orion all the way, the viper does handle 1ohm daily, but the orion is a way better amp. orion would be an amp u will be very satisfied wit. trust me. and the orion can be had for cheaper than the kx
