Orion 2500D wont come out of protect

F *ck this is frustrating. Light just stays red. So I tried different ground spots and nothing. Could it be the rem? How can I test that? What else can I do?

and/or something on the board is shorted

you gotta get it diagnosed and fixed

i had a 4 2500d's

blew up all but 1.

turns out they like,other amps, dont like vibrations lol

Sounds like a an open output. You needs to get it repaired man.

On one of the RCA inputs the metal sheeting around it is off. However, I can still plug an rca into it. Is the no metal sheeting around it going to make it not work?

The metal sheeting is the RCA ground. It does need to be on there.

Well thanks thats my answer right there.

So I'm assuming I can take the metal sheeting off another RCA fit it around my amps RCA securely and firmly and I will be alright?
