Orion 2500d question + recommendations

I was lookin into the Orion series because I heard they are stable under 1 ohm, I see that you can get them used for.... 350-400 shipped. 2500 @ 1 ohm is pretty **** good. Im assuming 3000 @ .5 ohm?(If you have the electrical that is)

now I know some other brands such as sundown and kicker etc have great amps, but it seems that Orion 2500d is one of the cheaper/reliable/very recommended amps out there. Anything else to consider for the price.

Lets go with $450 or less.

Also whats the deal with the higher end Orions above the 2500d? I cant seem to find much info on them.

The 2500D is a good amp. I have heard people having major issues with the new D5000's but the 2500D's are good to go. This is a LARGE amp, and $450 or less for one used in decent shape is a hell of a deal.

What other amps above the 2500D are you reffering to?

I wasnt sure if Orion had any amps that are higher than the 2500d. I just hear so much about them that I plan on considering buying one in the future.

uhhh i don't recall of a higher orion amp.... unless you wanna call the HCCA 5000 higher even though i hear it sucks more than the 2500d

2500d is strong reliable and gives lots of power, cant be beat for the money / thread.

just ran one for over a year in my van, ugraded to a tru hammer for sq reasons.
