The 2500D is a great amp but it is no match for the colossus. that's my 2 cents

I am considering the colossus for my setup. Having 2 channels provides flexibility for future setups the monoblock orion doesn't have.

Neither amp will ever prove to be a disappointment. I will say however that an Orion 2500d can be had for a little cheaper. Both are solid amps, the colossus will probably edge the orion in terms of SQ.

Colossus is a little stronger and also draws more current. Orion is definately cleaner. really depends on what you need it for, Orion can be found cheaper and would be better for daily driving, colossus stronger for competition.
