ok i got 2 12" L7's, i got my gains set all good i used a dmm to set it, right now my lpf is on 80hz and my hpf is on 33hz but i dont use the intelliq at all, my question is should i keep the hpf on or should i just turn it off?

as far as i know turning on the hpf activates the subsonic filter, so if you turn it off then you dont have a ss filter.the hpf also controlls the Q, no hpf = no Q. at least thats the way i understand the amp to work?

i dont really notice much difference from when its turned off and when its turned on in sound, but i never use the intelliq, so should i keep it on for the ssf? i have no idea

set the hpf to about 30 or 33 or close to where your box is tuned, if you get a powerful signal going to your sub and the signal is below the tuneing of your box, you might blow your sub, the ss filter stops frequencies lower than your box is tuned to arriving at your sub. if a 25 hz note hits your sub HARD and your box is tuned to 35 there will be no controll over the sub, it will/might/could over exurt and be toast?
