Got the amp, its a little older than i thought, has the mono button but power ground is hardwired. Anybody know what year its from? How does the EQ button work? Thanks

What do you guys use to connect power/ground to direct leads? Large crimp connections or what?

These will do 1 ohm, but if you actually look at the manual they were only rated for 2 ohm mono in this model/year. Later on the HCCA line was published to do 1 ohm.

Just watch the heat and the current draw because those amplifiers are horribly inefficient.

Its a gen2, the manual states .5 ohm per channel
