That is a great price, provided it works. Even at 4 ohms stereo you should expect MORE than 100 watts per channel. I measured a HCCA 225 to produce 73.5 watts RMS per channel just prior to clipping into a 4 ohm load with 14.4 volts of input. I also measured a HCCA 225 G4 to produce just over 100 watts per channel into a 4 ohm load with 14.4 volts of input.

My only word of warning is that beast is inefficient and loves to draw LOTS of current!

 
would this be alright on stock electrical alongside a kicker zx1000.1? i have a 99 altima.
no. back when i just had a hcca 225 runnig a pair of 12w5's,it kept melting my alt on a 86 t-bird. above is correct-hence the hcca.

Yes, they do. As for the Taramps remote control, it is for use with the EQ they sell, not as a remote bass knob. They are not very sophisticated...
