why does is say 2400 on the top; is that the max output or something

Yes, RMS is 1200watts... Says max 2400 watts, but it's an underated amp... They advertise it at only 12 volts, when cars run on 14...

What are you talking about? That's before I took it out of the box... And right now... The 2400 watt thing was just a little static cling this that I peeled off... I'll even throw it in to the buyer, lol...

Well, I looked down on this forum and saw one with a year of use for $250... So, I figured for the condition of this one, that $300 is a pretty fair price... If anyone is interested, let me know...

I'm not lookin for a new amp... I don't even really wanna get rid of my system... I just want some 24"s, and the system is the most valueable thing I own...

Bump for a badazz amp. There is a thread that explains why it say 2400. With a insanely amout of voltage to it, it has put out as much as 2400w. I am impressed with my 1200d it is worth $300.00. Mine beats the hell out of my L7's.( at half gain)
