Orion 1200d vs directed 1500d

I have a choice to make. Either the 1200d(1200 at 1) or the directed 1500d(1100 at 1). The orion has 3 40 amp fuses. the directed has 3 30 amp fuses. My alt is stock(corsica). The sub is a tc9 hybrid 1500 rms

I have the Orion and it is rock solid, and a bit underrated.

depends what orion amp. and just cause same company builds them doesn't mean their equal, look at maxxsonics. id go orion

the 1200d is shiny, the d1200 is black. the 1200d has three 40's and the d1200 who knows but its only a 600w amp. I ran four 1200d's in my old CRX, loved them. Cant go wrong.

I wouldn't run either due to all the issues I had with DEI's Orion line around 2003 or so. DEI should have stayed far, far away from car audio. After all, what are they left with now? Orion and Polk?
