orion 1200d vs directed 1500d

I have a choice to make. Either the 1200d(1200 at 1) or the directed 1500d(1200 at 1). The orion has 3 40 amp fuses. the directed has 3 30 amp fuses. My alt is stock(corsica). The sub is a tc9 hybrid 1500 rms

let me know what ya think. (and no need to compare prices.. i can get em both cheap off cl)

Both are good amps, Iv used both. Might wanna keep an eye if ur gonna run either of those on a stock electrical and battery...

is the orion the old silver one, if so i go with the orion, but i would do big 3 and add a battery

Well, they were made by the same company so I'd say they are pretty similar.

why would i need another battery.... i never run the car without the engine on aka alternator powering everything.

Directed has owned Orion since 2001. Which 1200d are you talking about?

IIRC all those Orion, Directed, Viper with model number xxxxD amps are very very similar.

The 1200d was the only one model, it was a silver/polished finish.
