orion 1200d refurbished

I wouldnt worry about it being refurbished, and it comes with a warranty from ikesound (6 months I believe). My way of thinking is, if nothing goes wrong in 6 months, then nothing will likely go wrong if it is properly used.

It will put out plenty of power for the type R's, and i've even heard of people running them at .5 ohms daily. I would be more worried about the Hifonics staying stable at 1 ohm than the orion, although i've seen plenty of people doing it.

in my opinion, go with the orion. it's a better quality amp that will put out just as much power as the hifonics, for $80 less. It's a win-win situation.

but have that is refurbished can it really handle the type r's and is it really 1 ohm stable
IkeSound's refurbs are known to be really good, 30 day warrenty so you dont have to worry. And the Type R's are 500 RMS I believe, so 1200 will give 600w to each sub... It will sound awsome, and yes it is 1 ohm stable.

thnak alot and how much power wiil i need for the rest of the system i mean for the 6*8 speakers in the doors is the orion 400 watts enough or should i go with the 800

dont bother with a capacitor. For that setup, I would put that money towards 0 guage cable + install accessories, and some extra wire to do the "big 3." Will be much better than a cap. And if you dont know what the big 3 is, just search and youll find it.
