Orion 1200D or Hiftonics Brutus

Which amplifier would be best for me? Both push out 1200watts @ 1ohm and are brand new.

Orion is $225 and Hifonics is $180

is it worth $45 over the brutus or are they essentially the same amp performance/sound quality wise?

The lower level hifonics are known for not doing there rated power, while the Orion is rated at 1200 watts at 13.8 volts, so you might get more out of it on a 14.4 volt system.

orion no doubt from how much CA.com loves those amps.

hifonics wont do their rated power unless you have a great electrical system.
