orion 1200d at 12v?

I recently got a used orion 1200d off of ebay. I hooked it up to my car and there is power to the amp, as well as a good ground. The rem wire is good i believe as well. The power light isnt even coming on. There is no protect mode light. Does there have to be more than 12 volts going to the amp to make it work? How many volts should the rem wire be putting out? How can I tell if the power supply is fried? Anything else I should check? A few other questions. Why is there two positive and two negative speaker connections for a mono amp? Which ones should I use? There are a few other things I dont know how to adjust. The phase, 0 or 180? The knob near the gain, should it be main, copy, or master? Any other advice would be great, thanks.

Set the phase to 0, Set that knob to main, and if your amp isnt working you need to crack it open.

dont crack it open if it is under a warranty. just contact them and send it back because that may void your chances if they know you took the cover off.
