Orion 1200d @ 0.5 ohms

Ok well Im ordering my Fi BTL later this week (friday probably) and I dont have an adequate amp for it yet, In about a month im going to be running an IA 20.1. But for now Im going to run my Orion 1200D at 1/2 an ohm.

Im pretty sure it will do this, read another thread that suggested it would. Just kinda want to get more info, and if anyone know what kind of power it will do?

Electrical system includes...G31 Optima, 250 Amp HO alt, and dual runs of 1/0

dang u have dual runs of 1/0 with a 250 amp ho alt yet ur gonna running a Orion 1200D? lol. All good, I think since ur going to be getting the IA 20.1 in a month u might as well just run it at 2 ohms just to be safe.

I wouldnt try it...

But IF it lasts, ~1800w...

Doesnt get hot at 1 ohm...and my voltage rarely dips under 14.

Overkill FTMFW...and I knew I was getting a larger amp in the future, its called head room.

i woudlnt do it.....definitly will fry, and put out a mad clipped signal before hand.......
