Ordered some stuff!

Hey guys, I'm new on here! I'm a big reader but usually have low posts. Been reading on this board for about a week trying to play my setup. I am going for some reasonable SQ at a reasonable price. Here is the setup I will be running in my 2004G35 Sedan. What do you guys think about my choices?

Front Stage amp – JL Audio 300/4 (150x2RMS @4ohm)

Sub Amp – Kenwood 9102D (500RMS @4ohm 850RMS @2ohm)

(I had this amp from a previous install)

Deck – Pioneer AVH-4000dvd

(Purchased for 200 with ipod cable from a buddy)

Front Stage – Image Dynamics CXS64 V2

Sub Woofer – Image Dynamics IDQ12v2 D2 (will run it at 4-ohm)

Sub Box – 1 Cu/Ft Sealed

Amp kits/Distributor box – Rockford Fosgate 4GA Dual Amp wiring kit

Should sound pretty nice. Kenwood is not my thing, but like you said it was from a previous install.

Thanks for the compliment on the car.

As for the kenwood, I wonder how much clean power it will actually put out at that load. When I initially purchased it years ago, I never really did any research on the item.

The Kenwood's supposedly CEA certified, so it should do around rated.

That aside, it sounds like a nice, clean SQ setup. ID makes excellent equipment, and is perfect for what you're looking to do. Until you start comparing this to competition-level setups, yours will be top notch. G35's should have decent sound deadening from the factory, so the ID's should shine without much work in tuning, deadening, etc.

"Competition level" how? this guy could sompete in SQ the way it is. If you are referring to SPL, that might be a different story. Obviously there is more to the SQ comment but the CXS drivers will scare ALOT of highend drivers.
