as far as sq goes, i definitely think they're better then my sd's...i'd say they're on par with my tc2+'s (tc1000's)...
the sd's **** them on spl though, but then again, i was impressed by the spl the 9kv3's put out in a 1.4 @ 32 box...again, they're not as loud as the sd's, sound better, but are still impressive for being 8's...
i had buddies do blind tests on them and they though i had a pair of 10's or a 12...
as far as bang for the buck goes, i'd say they're worth every penny for $100 shipped, i just have too much to play with right now...
