i just installed my slc's a couple of days. OMG, they sound awesome. and i still haven't tweeked the amp, deaden my doors and need to add the crossover. i can't wait. please tell us how urs went. you made a great purchase.

Attached to my old PPI, the SLCs make my kicks resonate, dispite being 3 layers of fiberglass, bodyfiller on the outside, and spray on deadener on the inside. My next pair will be 5 or even 7 layers. Do not underestimate those little bastards. =) I have the 2003 editions.
