My amp should be arriving monday and I was just curious as to if anyone on here has this amp and if they like it or not. It is a MA Audio HK800D. I got impatient and didn't wanna wait for ikesound and this was the amp I found elsewhere in my pricerange.

I planned on ordering it regardless of what people said, I was just seeing what I was going to be looking forward to.

Ok, after having the amp installed for a few days now I can tell you guys that it is a good performer. It makes this RL-P sound awesome, I was a little confused when it arrived in a tiny box, I was expecting a much larger amp than it is but it puts out the power it claims so I'm a happy camper.

MA Audio makes some good amps. I would have spent the extra money on the hk1000d for that fancy class X architecture, but I'm on a stock charging system. *shrugs*

Did you measue the signal? Make sure it was not clipping?

That's like someone with a Hifonics 1500d saying it produces rated power.

I set my gains using the tutorial and then measured using the formula I said in the last post.
