Optimas life?

Hi guys

Actually, Im gonna be buying a new Optima D34 coz its the only one that will fit under my hood without modifying.

Anyway, would anyone know if there is an actual date of when it was made, stamped on it? reason i ask is, im ordering it now since i found a good deal on one, but wont be back home for over 6 months.

Which leads me to this question... how long can you leave one sit at room temperature and not being used at all?

6months should be fine... when you get back just check the voltage and charge if need be... why dont you install it in wife's/friend's car so its put to good use...
