I'm looking to add either one of these batteries under the hood, So I can run my music with the car off, which one do you think is the better battery?

i have had, kinetik batteries, optima's, and odysseys. the optima's hold a high voltage. the kinetiks have great strength and reserve, and the odyssey is a lil of both. if you could i would get like two of the yellow tops so you have high voltage and a good reserve cause you will have two //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yea i would like to know also. Was thinking about getting a yellow top, but everyone told me to get a battery made specifically for car audio, like the Kinetik. But i dont know what would be better in the end. I want max amps and high voltage.

also, the kinetik that sonicelectronix.com sells, are they for real? cuz they really dont look like the one on kinetik web site and is really cheap... wondering if anyone knew more info bout this..

i love kinetik they have little batteries and then huge batteries so it easy to get one for ur liking. i think the 1400 is better but i like kinetik over optima. also my voltage never goes below 13.4 when im driving.

in the group 34 size from what i tested the kinetik was the strongest plus works in the cold. never had a single problem with mine and it rests at or right around 13v. not only that you cook it due to car audio craziness (unless you are dumb and try to charge it at 17v) you will get it replaced.........i always had trouble with optima in that reguard that was sometime in the 90's.

13.4 but my second alt is only for my stereo system so i really got one 200 amp for my system only/
