Alright, Kinetik hasn't shipped my batteries yet and I need to have my power situation done by the end of next week for the Florida show.

So, I'm thinking about picking up four or five Optima Blue Tops and Shawn Fleming won't let them go unless he can get rid of 10. So, I'll have five or six Blue Tops that I can ship out or bring to the Florida meet.

Looking for $120 + shipping each...

$100 each if you want one at the Florida meet/pick it up or buy more than one.

They have studs on top as well as battery terminals, so you don't have to buy battery terminals... you can use the studs and wing nuts that come with them and tighten your ring terminals right on it. Not sure of the differnce from the Yellow Tops, but they're more expensive. These are the G34s.

I have been trying to answer my own question, but have had no luck. What is the difference between the yellow top and the blue top other than the blue being approved for marine use. I am looking for a battery that will work well on my 1400 total rms system, that is not that ridiculous of a price.

There is nothing different. From what i have gathered other then the different terminals.

After a ton of research..

I found out they're part # SC34M, which is not designated as a deep cycle battery. It's a cranking/deep cycle battery. I talked to a friend who knows his batteries and he said they're identical specs with a yellow top deep cycle, except 10 minutes less reserve time.

Oh, did I mention, these come with an 18-month free replacement warranty?

No kenny you didnt.

PM me with a pickup price Kenny. I may be interested in one. And where is the replacment warranty good at?
Hey Vic //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Pickup price is $100 each, and I'll be at the Clearwater meet with some.

The only thing is that I need to have all these batteries paid for sometime today so that I can get them tomorrow from Shawn... so you would have to leave $100 with my buddy in Bradenton before tomorrow night or PayPal $103 to Shawn Fleming.

These batteries were bought at Interstate, but I was told any Optima dealer SHOULD honor the warranty.
