optima battery worth it?

you guys think that optima batteries are worth the price? I need to replace my battery and I was just wondering if its worth paying for a dry-cell, deep-cycle battery. Why are they better than a regular high quality battery? Any info on this would be great.

yes they can be discharged many many times and still keep a good solid number (voltage wise) plus when they get run down they also hold a constant voltage. more cranking power. definetly worth the pennies.
