Refurbs isn't always bad... It atleast means the board was looked over twice //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif .. My Directed 1500d (stolen) was a refurb and was great for years. Looks like a decent deal, I'm still skeptic on the newer optis

it's 1000w, not 1400.

I have no reason to doubt its ability.

The Opti2000D, big brother of the 1400 is pretty popular with the SPL crowd according to reports at termpro. A caraudiomag review a couple years ago had it at 1962w rms at 1/2 ohm with an efficiency of 84%.

The 1400 isn't 1/2 ohm stable, but it should do 1000w reliably at 1 ohm.
