Opinion on Power Acustik A3000DB

Does anybody have any input on this amp... Power Acustik A3000DB....Wanting to run 2 kicker 12L7's just was wondering how reliable the amp is and any other info you can tell me about it.... any input would be great... thanks

for the money you cant beat it. great amp. It'll do 1ohm all day long off 12v and not get too warm. If you run a solid 14v to it it wont even get warm evern after playing it hard for long perioids of time. Very reliable. As long as you dont clip the signal, it'll sound clean and dish out plenty of power (if your electrical can support it).

i know some people who have ran them at .5ohm daily, but they heated up alot quicker, even with a solid electrical system backing it.

I have had the 2400d which is the step down. Very nice amplifier. take tons of abuse and puts out nice power. Also I forget exactly but I tested it at a 1.33ohm wired ohm with imp rise around 2.1 ohm and it was approx 84 percent effc. at that ohm which is INSANE

i must of had a bad one my first system had a power acoustik 2400db and it blew on me at 1ohm within a few weeks. i dont wanna diss the 3000 but i just didnt have good luck with them

the only thing i don't like about the amp is the power/ground inputs. if the plastic covers crack and fall off, the amp is open to having the power ground out and blow (there's no internal fuse to protect the power supply). But yeah its a beastly amp, I've heard its very efficient. I wish the one I bought woulda worked
