Opinion on my upgrade?

This is what I have in my car right now:

Two 12" Dual subs

300 watt Kicker amp (ZX300.1)

I just bought this for $125, and I'm going to replace my current setup with it tomorrow:

Two 12" Kicker CVR's

600 watt Alpine amp (I forgot the model number and can't check right now)

Will this be an improvement? I gave all the details I know of, sorry if I didn't give enough information - please don't flame the noob, I don't know much about car audio.

I'm hoping it will be both much louder and perhaps sound cleaner. But anyways, opinions please.

it depends more on the install than the equipt. What kind of vehicle do you have? The 600 watt alpine amp is 2ohm stable so you would get the best performance out of it if you had 2 cvrs that are d2 wired parrallel/series for a 2ohm load. what kind of box do you have?
