opinion on drug tests

you cant really test if mari affects safety in the workplace because its illegal. So we will never know I guess. Here, before you take a drug test they tell you how much of a waste of money it is but how they still insist on doing them, cause its illegal to use. I personally dont think drugs are bad if taken in moderation. just as harmful as alcohol

If I have to hire someone for more than a temp job, I do a Hair Follicle Drug test for pre employment, then random drug tests afterwards.

Drug tests are meh. I am on probation and i am on a color program. For those who dont know what that is, when i first signed up at the counceling place I was assigned the color green. Every day I have to call a hotline where they will list off random colors. if they call green, I have to go in the next day to either do a 12panel drug screen or an alcohol test. I hate this becuase it is a waste of time, and costs $25 each time I go in. If i dont go in I have to go back in front of the judge, and I cna get called in every day. One week i got called in 4x, so $100 in one week to piss in a cup with some large gay man starring at my schlong.

wow hair follicle?? pretty extreme. I use the e-screen cups.

and why would you not test temps? Liability is liability. I have @50 "temps" who work for me. I do the drug screens, e-verification, and mvr's on them as I would a permanent employee. If they screw something up or get someone hurt, I am responsible nonetheless.
