online college?

most colleges offer online courses now......that university of phoenix online must make some good money because the cardinals stadium is named after them!

there is a difference between going to an all online university and taking a course or two online at a regular school. I would guess that the first is unacceptable to many employers but the latter wouldn't be a big deal.

online classes are easy as SHIOIT! just dont be stupid and procrasinate...cause then itll just **** //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Just stay away from University of Pheonix...

And if you chose a good college, then no, it wont be a big deal. Hell the one my wife uses, she has to go to our local university to take all her tests. When she graduates, she will be getting a degree from the college...an employer wouldnt know the difference whether she was there or online...

There is one exception. The University of Indiana's 'Kelley Direct' program is very widely recognized and accepted. Other than that, a PhD from University of Pheonix is worth about as much as an associate's degree from a community college.

Wrong on about all accounts....

If you search for "online classes" your going to get a bunch of junk.

Schools like Penn St., Ohio St., WVU, Oregon St. and a huge amount of others now offer classes online.....completely and there is no difference in how the degree is worded.

The last 64 hours of my degree and my Masters has been all online,,,,,,and I can get a job wherever I want.

I dunno what master's degree you are pursuing but 75% of the reason why I go is to find a better job; either through interaction with my professor or interaction with other students. If you just want a certificate you know the stuff, perhaps an online degree would be suitable.

I would wager against your opinion of the Kelly Direct program. It's a really good program. However, I must concede that the 1 year classes must be taken on campus. Only the second year is online.
