Okay now the only decision I have to make is whether to use digital coax or the optical output from my soundcard to the receiver.

Any big differences between the two?

Well if you want to be a true audiophile with this, then you want digital coax. But.... at the same time you want a noisy PC as far away as possible, and long opticals are cheaper //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Either way you'll be fine.

Well its not going to be that far away, id say around 3 feet at most.
