One Voice Coil Hotter than the other.

Doubling up isn't to lower resistance, it is used as a way for heat dissipation.
But distance between both subs to amp does play a role.

The photo of how to wire the subs will always place all power thru one sub before it hits the next.

Brass bolts is best for speaker terminals.

Copper would be expensive and aluminum will cause resistance.

yeah its dumping it all on the furthest sub away instead of the closest which is pretty funny but yeah, This setup is begging me to buy another banda 7k with a free unused RCA output and to wire my 4 hdc3s down to 1 ohms each amp instead of 4 subs at 2 ohms with just one amp.

Its not too bad atm. Only when I put a moderate clip for burps or 30 second music average full tilt runs will something will i be worried about. Its still not barely above room temperature at the volumes i listen to and the gain level i set it at.

You're efficiency is better then it would be at 1 ohm on two amps id expect.

Whats the rise looking like?

A lot of rise probably, Havent clamped but this banda handles rise pretty well with how much output i'm getting even when super conservative everywhere vs the DC 3.5k at almost full tilt every day. lowest rise wired to 1 ohm I got with the DC 3.5k clamp was 2.3 - 2.4 ish ohms. The rest is usually above that. My DC level 5s were wired to 2 ohms and still got a good bit louder than my hdc3s and i should be rising very high with the DCs.

I have bolt terminals. Steal bolts lol. Never had a problem

OP what's ur enclosure look like? Could be a loading issue. One woofer loading funny causing coil to heat up? Never mind. Seen the picture of box in first post link. Box looks good

I say run the wires directly through the box without bolts and then get another Banda 7k!
Must i repeat again? Lol. The subs are INVERTED with they asses showing. The wires are Directly ran to the subs. NO BOLTS ARE USED. lol.

anywho, did some testing and its not the RCA. Gonna change wire lengths and use some spare 8 gauge lying around to double up. My negative run is longer than my positive because of one of my sub(driver side) being further from the amp(passenger side). Most likely thats the issue, will report back with results in a day or two.

Ok, someone said something about bolts earlier.

It's not that it has one RCA..... that has literally nothing to do with this. The amp is not going to send more power to the right or left sub because of that. It's a mono amp. Electrical resistance determines which sub gets more amperage

Could be how the enclosure loads in your vehicle, putting more backpressure on one of the subs. More common with flat walls but no reason a box firing into the roof couldn't have the same issue...
