One Of The Weirdest Things I've Seen

I installed a set of CDT CL-62's in my car about 3 months ago, and everything has been fine until the last couple of days. I can have the HU on and when i open the passenger door all the way, there is a loud "pop" and the components quit playing. I found it to be just the components that stop because the rear speakers and subs keep playing. I dont understand what's causing this. If the pasenger door is open half way or three fourths of the way, it still works. But the second it opens all the way, the components stop. I have checked the wires running through the door grommet and the wires are loose, so I dont think they are getting pulled from the speaker. Anyone have a clue to what might be the problem?

Thats what i'm confused about, will touching the speaker wires to the frame or to each other cause the whole component set to stop working?

BTW- Thanks for the quick response!!!

******* doors on a Grand Cherokee??? Dont think so!

Thanks guys for helping me out. I quess i'll have to take my door apart again and check to see whats causing the problem!
