Sold **One item per thread**

Lets say that a seller makes a thread that is selling sub x
They say that sub x can handle this much power,

Users who have used this sub disagree with the seller from personal experience with the sub, and say sub x can only handle y power

The seller deletes the posts that say the information about y power.

Do you understand or should I try again?

Again I mean this is only an example, but you get the gist of what I am saying I hope.
I get exactly what you're saying - it's a fine example.

Again - I didn't think of it in those terms.

Having said that I think the pros of users having the ability to moderate their own For Sale threads (and only their own threads in the For Sale subforum) would far outweigh the cons so I still agree that it is a good iea.

All in all, I dont fell there is a problem with the current situation.
I can wholeheartedly endorse this point of view. I can see much dissention amongst the ranks if a true 1 Item/Thread rule implemented and enforced //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I would perfer not having a single thread per item.. It will cause alot of clutter and will be harder for a seller to moderate there thread and offers. Plus bumps will go crazy...

we should be able to moderate, our own for sale threads cause i hate douches post dumping
you can, click this button

then you enter why your reporting the thread, then an email is sent to all mods who will then promptly take care of the post as soon as they are able to.

Now, let me throw my input in. I think that it could make things more organized an easier for buyers, and maybe for sellers. Multiple item threads usually get too cluttered, and unless your one of those people who actually edit their first post to say thats its been sold, I would hate to read through about 3 pages (thread is actually longer though) to find this out.

Also, I think it would be better to post the exact model name; eg. "Pioneer DEH-P860MP for sale" instead of "Pioneer Deck for Sale"

It seems to me that after a while you can't go back and edit your posts though. I started a FS thread about a month ago, but I can't edit the original post to remove what has been sold. So you do have to check 3 pages to find out what's left. This is the only forum I'm on that does that, seems kinda dumb.

Man whoever was the genius to come up with this idea must have been really bored when he thought about it. Worst rule on caraudio. There's no point in this rule but to make people search pages to find what they are looking to buy. Dumb rule.

Actually its intended to only be 1 actual item per ad only. This is to deter dealers and what not from posting their storefont for sale, but I see where it could be confusing.
That's why we're discussing it.

Hey, what about having the classified forum broken into SUB-forums.. have (for example)

Subwoofers/Speakers

Amplifiers

Head Units

Accesories

than make it one item per thread, that way if your looking to buy and amp, go to the amp secion, see all the organized products for sale infront of you.

make it so the thread title is just the product.. add New or Used or w/e too.. That way we dont have a forum completely filled with "EVERYTHING I OWN MUST GO" or "Lots of stuff f/s" THAT is what makes it hard to navigate what is for sale.

Thats a great idea it would be so much easier but we will just have to wait and see what happens
