Per the admin there is only to be one item per sale thread. Any thread that has been already made will be allowed to stay, but from this moment on any new thread with more then one item will be deleted.

That is a nice thought, but then you would get the idiots who can't put the items in the right place. The mods would then have more work to do moving/locking/deleting threads if that happend. Why not just add a limit? If there is 1 item per listing I think having sections for each kind of product would un-clutter things a bit.(I wish this was here anyway)Headunits
Subwoofers
Speakers
Amps
Signal Processors
Accessories
Very true. Getting off topic, but if such a thing were to happen, power could be given to a few to simply move the threads. I know I would like doing thatThat is a nice thought, but then you would get the idiots who can't put the items in the right place. They are not leaving it up to us, we are simply talking about it. G00b did not saym "let's see what yall have to say abou tit."I personally think that would ****.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
But if I might add something useful to this, I think a better rule would be to make it mandatory to list what's for sale in the topic instead for the 'Check Out My Stuff For Sale!!' types.. It makes it much easier to find what you are looking for.. Enforcing this policy might be another issue..
Anyways, whatever you guys decide shouldn't be done without taking it to the users first, just like you've done here, and I thank you guys for having the respect to let the users have a voice.. WE are the ones that use this place, and keeping things nice and friendly is what keeps us coming back.. There's another forum (that I won't mention here) that I rarely visit anymore simply because they don't allow replys in the Classifieds to deter post dumping, and since I'm not participating in their Classifieds, I don't really visit any other parts of their site much either.. The point of it all is: Don't let a few ruin things for everyone, and keep your users happy!

All I said was I'm glad they are even letting us talk about it.. Who knows if they will listen or not, and ulitmately it is their decision.. I am positive the community as a whole would NOT like this new rule, as this thread is going to prove.. Surely goob will listen to that, or at least take it into consideration? They are not leaving it up to us, we are simply talking about it. G00b did not saym "let's see what yall have to say abou tit."
this rule has nothing to do w/ scammers...w/o an ip ban and w/ all the people missing common sense....we might as well not talk about em //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gifi don't think there has been any logical reason stated for one item per thread...
also, maybe a minimum post count (30 isn't hard to do) before posting f/s ads. probably would deter a few of the scammers
If this is made to cut down on dealers...its just gonna create more of a hassle and not stop dealers. Would be quite pointless. Can't think of any other reason for having it. Instead of us listing all the negs....try to list a positive about it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. I cant think of one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gifThis is completely open to discussion guys. We're looking for any and all opinions.
Just keep it civil ... remember, "discussion."
