Heard 2 AQ 18's tonight and the SQ was solid for daily, especially rap music. Tried it out on some rock and techno also. Stupid loud also...

In the right box with enough power you'll be very happy with an AQ 18". Do around 6 cubes tuned to 35-38Hz and throw around 2k at it and be done with it.

Don't over analyze this shit to death as every sub mentioned will pretty much do what you want. Some sound a little better and some get a little louder....

TC Sounds 15" TC9... What do you guys think about that? 1200 wrms? can this thing bang? Also, how is the SQ on it? What amps can I run with this sub.. I was going to get a MTX TA 7801 but Im not sure if I can run a D2 sub?

If I get a MTX TA 7801 will this amp be able to sufficently power a Re SX 18" ? I am on a budget the amp will put out 1200 wrms but people say that the amp is underrated by 200-300 watts!
