Hello all. My name is Scotty and I've been lurking this site for a couple days and decided to go ahead and get in on a few topics. I live in Louisiana where I love to fish and raise my four boys. When I was a bit younger (31 now) I was all into the car audio scene. Then a couple kids came along, then a couple more! Well, I got out of it all for a good while. But now I'm getting the fever again! Lol. I need my music back! Little different this go round though. I want clean sound when it's low and got a truck full of the family but when they're not with me I wanna be able to jam out!

So with all that being said, I hope y'all like answering questions cause I'm full of them. I always winged it before. Which got me through just fine. But now I'd like To make sure I do the best I possibly can. The system I am considering putting together :

Two jl10w3d2 under rear seat powered by a RF power bd1500.1

Set of the cdt hd 62a powered by a ppi pc275

(Undetermined) 5x7 in rear powered by head unit

And the pioneer deh 80prs to do the thinking.

I also have a voodoo 1 farad capacitor I'm thinking of putting with the 1500.

I would stay away from the w3s if you're looking for output. They sound good, but I was far from impressed with the output of 2 12s in my buddies system. I would recommend 2 SoundSolutionsAudio Gcons or even Icons depending on your budget. Everything else you listed would be ok. Ditch the capacitor and upgrade your battery to the biggest agm you can fit and look in to the big 3 upgrade also.

He was going to put 2 12w3's under the seat. If he can fit those he can fit the Gcon I would think.

Figured if the w3s would fit, so would a gcon or icon. W3s aren't too shallow themselves.

It's two 10's. And I already have them from a previous system I had a few years back. And yes I want to put them both under the rear seat of my silverado extended cab pickup. Thanks for all the replies. I will use what I have for subs and amps for now cause , I already have them. The head unit and mids and highs and wiring and fuse blocks are to be purchased. Thanks for all the input guys.
