Once a big amp blows, do you think it would ever be the same after repair?

I found a good deal on 2 blown big amps, 5K+rms amps, the kid doesnt know whats wrong with them but I got pics and it looks like a dozen blown fets and maybe 2 caps.

If the amp was to get repaired, to you ever think it would function and be reliable as new again??

Ive never worked with a refurbished or repaired amp after a fairly big blowout like this

I usually send it directly to the manufacturer and have them repair it as they will use OE parts or better updated. Other repair centers may just use whatever parts they have or Radio Shack has.

So if you want it to be dependable, send it back to the company.

Ya this amp def wouldnt be able to go back to the manufacturuer, but when it comes to fets, those are pretty common and you cant really mess those up right?? Its the caps to me that might not be upto OE
