This shit is all I've been hearing about on the news, which is understandable........but.What is annoying is all the talking about "are our nations bridges safe?"

One bridge collapes and suddenly everyone is going crazy. "Are you safe driving across the bridge nearest you?" Was one of THE stupidest headlines I've heard this morning.

haha i feel exactly the same way.... watching the jax news last nite and they're talking about how the bridges there aren't safe, and havent been maintained like they should blah blah

Because of the MN bridge collapse, I received a request from a reporter to print out this database they got. The datbase is EVERY BRIDGE IN TEXAS. Over 704,000 of them. I laughed and said NO. They had the same knee-jerk, localization, OMG thing the last time a bridge collapsed....like 6 years ago.

A ton of money is going to be wasted inspecting every god **** bridge in the united states.Of course a bunch of costs are going to stem off of that.
