Older kicker solo baric (round)

my friend just got rid of some old kicker solo baric 8'' subs, he had 4 kicker solo baric 8'' behind his seats in his pickup, he had a spare one incase ...whatever happened, so this one hasnt even been opened up until today, anyone know where i can find the stats on this old one?

That sub is great in compact sealed enclosures. Its funny the current solobarics are very volume hungry while its predaccessor was reveared for its output in small enclosures. Blah, blah, blah......

Box wise, I'd recommend about 0.25cf or so sealed.

If you want to go about 0.6cf@36Hz. You're limited to around 250W RMS either way, and honestly I'd recommend a subsonic filter below 32Hz for the ported,

i am a fan of the older solobarics> they hit really hard in small boxes.

sorry for jumping on ur thread zeph but i have the same question but i have 2 10s of the same old stillwater round design. i need the fs &vas #s for detirmining to go with a sealed or ported box.

i already have them in 2 sealed boxes now but they just dont pound like i think they should.

i am pushing them with 420 watts of mtx mono amp power. any suggestion along with those #s

No, I'm not looking for subs at this time. I love the sound of my PRS's. I was just pointing out the price he is asking for pretty much "virgin" subs isn't that steep in my opinion.
