That sub is great in compact sealed enclosures. Its funny the current solobarics are very volume hungry while its predaccessor was reveared for its output in small enclosures. Blah, blah, blah......

Kicker Solobaric S8D2

Fs 37.84 Hz

Re 3.72 Ohm

Qms 9.16

Qes 0.41

Qts 0.39

Sd 211 cm2

Vas 20.9 L

Xmax 10.30 mm

Le 2.00 mH

SPL@1w 86.3 dB

Box wise, I'd recommend about 0.25cf or so sealed.

If you want to go about 0.6cf@36Hz. You're limited to around 250W RMS either way, and honestly I'd recommend a subsonic filter below 32Hz for the ported,

sorry for jumping on ur thread zeph but i have the same question but i have 2 10s of the same old stillwater round design. i need the fs &vas #s for detirmining to go with a sealed or ported box.

i already have them in 2 sealed boxes now but they just dont pound like i think they should.

i am pushing them with 420 watts of mtx mono amp power. any suggestion along with those #s

yeah warbleed i've seen on a lot of forums. he's a freaking genius. lol
i am a fan of the older solobarics> they hit really hard in small boxes.

Yep, those were the good solo barics. Small enclosures, tight accurate response. The square ones are just muddy as hell. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

Why would you laugh?? Two of those subs that have never been powered for $125 a piece is actually a good deal but only for someone who likes SQ. Those subs went for atleast twice that much brand new. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/nerd.gif.c6fa51ddf7ff75f1c0371fbc648f70ae.gif

No, I'm not looking for subs at this time. I love the sound of my PRS's. I was just pointing out the price he is asking for pretty much "virgin" subs isn't that steep in my opinion. Thanx for asking though. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Clearing out storage. $75 + shipping. Located in Carlsbad, CA. Pick up OK. Shipping weight is probably around 13 pounds. Slightly to deep to fit into a USPS large flat-rate box.
