Just got it... havnt hooked it up yet..

Both coils read ok... coil doesn't look burnt..

BUT

When I turn it upside down it sounds like there is a pinpong ball moving around uner the cap and in the coil... seems to slide from the top to the bottom... so its not metal(would stickk to the motor wouldn't it?)

Its something light... but no clue what it would be.. Theres no pole vent so nothing could get in there.. what the hell could it be??

HELP HELP HELP!!

Ryan

used of course //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I have just never encountered anything like this before...

What the hell could it be??

this happened to my HC...there was something that went up the pole vent and bounced around in there.

on your case the only way to fix it is with a recone. unless you can get something in between the gap and the coil to go in there and get it (you cant)

sucks...

covered by warranty?

OLD Re.. of course it would be...

New Re.. since I bought it used(eventhough its not burnt up and its a defect from production) Holly said no way.... boooo

The thing is... the back is SEALED... no hole for the pole piece.. so there is no way for anything to get in there..
