SO in turn I might have to end up selling my kicker 1500.1 and myIDmax 12

I guess If i did i'd prob be $400 each for new stuff lol..

I hope I don't have to I wanna see the car get loud.

I've called tons of people about alts including mean green.. no one has an alt for me except one person of whom I won't mention but has had bad feedback lately..

Im pretty down about all this because I was going to FG a box for the trunk. I've spent about $1600 total on the stuff I've bought and I'd hate to not be able to use most of it the way it needs to be. I mean why damp a car you cant put subs in because of the factory alt! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif

I think you can run a 1500.1 off a stock alt if you get a second battery for the back. I'm running my Stetsom 2k6 D off a stock alt and a couple batteries. Hell, I ran a ZX2500.1, your amp's big brother off the same electrical. So throw it in there and it should be fine as long as you set the gains reasonably and refrain from blasting it at full volume for long periods. I don't have an alt for the same reason - 2004 Isuzu Rodeo.

I'm on the hyundai forums.. no luck trust me. the factory alts are either valeo which is a french company or made in korea

90 amps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

i dont have the skill. and I've read it bad to do.. besides im trying to make it looks factory when and if I do find an HO alt

couldnt u put two stock ones in if you had the skill/time?
180 amps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
If you're doing a custom setup, why would you stick with a stock alternator? Leave the stock in place, remove the AC and put a 200A on brackets.

Hmm. I run my system off of nothing but my stock alt and the big 3. 0ga to a distro, split into 4ga for the sub amp and 8ga for the speaker amp.

Alt puts out a WHOPPING 46 amps. Factory from 1976. I idle a little higher than most new cars, about 1k, but I still NEVER get below 11 volts on the aftermarket voltmeter Sure, it's no kx2500 or strapped mtx's, but it's two fairly power hungry amps on a 46 amp alt.

Yes, I DO have HO alts available, just don't feel a need. Very rarely whil driving does the voltage drop below 13. I like to be able to hear, don't need all the wattage my cheap amp can put out.

just have a solid battery bank. High output are nice, but not necessarily a MUST for moderate systems. I did not have one and ran a orion 2500d on a stock civic battery.

You are willing to sell your system, and possibly your car, rather than even consider dealing with Dom Iraggi? I think your priorities hove gotten abit out of whack.
while that may be at the extreme end of the spectrum, i still would avoid business with dom at all costs... he is a worthless scammer, and people would be better off going without than throwing money down the drain by doing business with him.

to the OP, and anyone else that might want to give it a try, call (704) 664 3048 . the name of the company is just called alternator starter, and they hae always built VERY solid alts for me, and unlike iragis pieces of turd, they do rated power (and then some), and they will not fail on you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif .
